Full Training

If you decide to commence the full training, you will be asked to pay a fee of £160 which will cover the cost of the training and your training materials from the introductory level of Ocean Diver, to Sports Diver, then Dive Leader right through to Advanced Diver level. We have six complete sets of scuba kit for use by students, both in the pool which is free of charge and for rental (at a cost of £5) on open water dives. We also have a range of masks, fins and snorkels. All kit is regularly serviced and maintained to ensure the safety of our students.

Every effort is made to encourage members to progress through the training and reach their next goals, while ensuring that the correct equipment is available to enable them to do so and that all safety aspects are adhered to.

Unlike PADI diving organisations, we are a club and none of our instructors are paid to do the training. They give up their time to help and encourage new members achieve their qualifications in the shortest time possible.

In addition to the diving qualifications BSAC offer regular courses on various other subjects, e.g. boat handling, vhf radios etc. We will be able to keep you informed of details of training opportunities and help you broaden your expertise within the club.
